Suspected Colorectal Cancer
Colorectal cancer is more common among older people. Symptoms that can cause concern include rectal bleeding or a change in the stool frequency or consistency. Other symptoms can include abdominal pain and weight loss. Anaemia, secondary to blood loss, can also be caused by conditions such as bowel cancer. If detected at an early stage, bowel cancer is potentially a curable condition.
